Halloween in the Cologne Zoo!

It's back - the scary animal spectacle for young and old on Halloween at Cologne Zoo. On October 31, 2022, things will be spooky again between anteaters and zebras. The program highlights in detail:

Walking acts: beware, there is always excitement here: behind the bushes of the atmospherically illuminated zoo, many mythical creatures are lurking in wait for their surprise appearance: giant trees, witches and other fantasy figures keep visitors in suspense - and provide thrills suitable for children. Glow-in-the-dark sea animal puppets gracefully move through the audience, transporting them to the depths of the ocean. So deep you can hear whales singing...

Participation activities for young and old: Young and old have to find the right exit in the 12 x 12 meter maze labyrinth. It's getting hot here: The artist Chapeu Bas enchants the audience several times in the evening with his hands-on fire show. The creepy slide, the sensory path and the mysterious feel course for hands-on activities are also action-packed. There are also many hands-on activities such as pumpkin carving, stick bread grilling or neon handicrafts - there is something for everyone.

Such a theater: The "Figurentheater Köln" with Andreas Blaschke performs the imaginative puppet theater piece "DasDinosaur-Ei" several times in the evening. The storyteller Andrea Ortolano presents gripping scary stories in the aquarium. Didgeridoo sounds on the bird of prey system round off the evening musically.

The stations are distributed over the entire zoo area. Crawling and reptiles are the focus of the aquarium. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in the hidden, fascinating world of spiders and insects. Elephant Park, Rainforest House, Owl Monastery, Hippodome and Madagascar House are open on Halloween night! Visitors can experience exciting special feedings here.
